SBIR posture
VeRGenT is preparing a Department of the Air Force SBIR Phase I proposal focused on applying Evidence Intelligence to high-consequence legal-support workflows. The Phase I effort is expected to emphasize implementation, validation, measurement, and transition planning around a mature architecture.
Why VeRGenT
VeRGenT is not proposing a generic chatbot or autonomous AI agent. The company is developing governed evidence-based decision support: evidence first, authority before conclusions, human review before action.
Responsible AI alignment
VeRGenT's design posture emphasizes responsible, traceable, reliable, and governable AI: transparent methods, documented sources, defined uses, testing and assurance, human review, and detection of unintended behavior. This is an architectural alignment statement, not a certification claim.
Risk-management orientation
The architecture is designed to support trustworthy AI risk management through evidence provenance, role separation, authority resolution, procedural-state awareness, validation scenarios, and Operational Integrity Engine monitoring.
Reference standards considered
Public-facing language is aligned with the Department of Defense AI ethical principles and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework as design references. VeRGenT does not claim DoD endorsement, certification, authorization to operate, or legal compliance until evaluated under the applicable contract, security, and agency requirements.
Remote support model
VeRGenT is based in Pennsylvania and provides remote-first support for clients nationwide and abroad where permitted by law and operational capability. In-person meetings are available only by prior arrangement and are not required for most projects.
Boundary
VeRGenT provides technical record organization, evidence indexing, timeline construction, discrepancy mapping, record-integrity support, and governed decision-support workflow design. VeRGenT does not represent claimants before VA, file claims, prepare VA claim forms, provide legal advice, provide medical opinions, guarantee outcomes, or charge contingent fees based on VA benefits.
